    Astoria Coffee was my favorite spot in my neighborhood, but they went out of business in January 2024. According to the signs on the store, Oliver Coffee will be opening at the same location in Spring 2024.

    I came here at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. My heart was set on a matcha latte. Sadly, they ran out of matcha. I ended up ordering a small drip coffee. The barista asked if I wanted space on top to add dairy. There was only one option. I assume it was half and half. The space is very spacious and comfortable. The WiFi is really fast. I wished I had my laptop with me. The 4 customers in the cafe were all typing away on theirs. This cafe is quite popular. It was busy when I was there. I kept seeing customers walking through the door. I would definitely come back here. It's a block away from the 30th Avenue station (N train).

    Ate here today for lunch by myself during my lunch break while working full time and across the street as a teacher assistant at The 30th Avenue School (Q300). I had brought and ate the almond powdered croissant. It was good, tasty and delicious. The service there was also super fast, quick and attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose anything to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)
